Ok, I've posted before about this box turtle my 12 yr old brother recently obtained. I've dealt with reptiles before, and he was happy to take my supplies and make me feed it, but when i started in on the advice... told me "ITS MINE NOT YOURS!"
So I need some help.
Outdoors we have a pin for our boxie, its pretty large and she digs and hides. She's got a water bowl large enough for her to get in, no hide box *yet* but she has herself a few little caves.
The last two weeks she has been living outside daynight.
We would bring her inside and put her in a 10gal with heat and uvb to feed her, and back out she'd go.
However, my brother has decided that he does not WANT to leave her outside daynight, and brings her in at night to put back into the 10gal. I tell him this is wrong, and stressful, but no one will listen to me. Surely a 20 yr old thats had reptiles for a few years now doesnt know more than a 12 yr old!
He's driving me crazy! I love that turtle... so guys...
Yes or No?
Is what he's doing a bad thing, maybe he'll listen to you.
