Oedura Caresheet Needed

mth Nov 07, 2004 06:08 PM

Anybody know of one on the net or maybe you have some advice on how to keep them. I would like to start keeping and breeding these so any info would be great. Also, info on breeders and their website would be good to have as well.

Thanks

basically I keep them the same as cresteds, loose the fruit.

I would do at least a 20 gallon for a breeder, I used something on the order of a 30 gallon, but that is my standard rhacy breeding cage, what was available. A 10 gallon for an individual is plenty.

They do not sell very well. Are the messy beyond belief for such a small animal. Will handle if you work with them. Escape in an instant if left an opportunity (SECURE CAGE LID). Females make a chirping call to males when together.

Generally an easy gek to do. Other than Castels and Monillis, species are pricey $$$, but only geckophiles want them.

Sounds easy enough. I used to breed Leopard Geckos and Knob Tails (levis Levis) and have been keeping Boas and Pythons for a long time. What temp do you keep the Juvi/adults at and temp for incubating the eggs?

stays at 75 ambient and I put 1 25 watt red overhead buld on one side of a 10 gallon. I put the eggs in the 75 degree incubator along with the rhach eggs.

The are quite hardy, interesting in my opinion, but evidently not
so interesting to the run of the mill herper. The female will call to the male when they are together.

The babies are tiny, and for my $ the cutest hatchling I have run across.

Thanks again for the info. I have found a couple of caresheets as well. I can use all the info. Never kept arboreal Geckos before so this should be fun.
