Genetics again.

ohannah Nov 08, 2004 08:41 AM

Hi, guys.

I've read on genetics in the previous posts. Very helpful, but still confusing. Will get there with practice

Any ideas, if I breed albino motley female with albino het for stripe male, what will the babies be?

Another small question: black corn refers to Anery A or B?

Many thanks.

If you cross an amel motley with an amel het for stripe, you will (assuming no other compatable hets) statistically get:

50% amel motley/stripes

and

50% amels het for motley

As to what is meant by a black corn, black albino, etc., usually it is referring to a type A anerythristic (anery). Type B anerys are more commonly known as Charcoal corns.

Hope that helps...
