This is Pearl 1 of the 2 snows from this year. She is feeding and growing at an impressive rate. Some feel that the snow morphs are so plain but I find them very beautiful with subtle soft tints of color. Going to be fun in a few years to have a snow clutch if all goes well. We may pair the Extreme with her as well and see what happens.

Hi Adam,

I see the fdirst hints of yellow coming in on this girl! I didn't think she'd stay all white, that was the initial speculation, wasn't it?

I want to compliment you on this pic and the tricolor hypo pic above it on the forum. I know from experience how hard it is to get good pix and yours are especially nice. What equipment are you using?

peace

Adam,

Great looking snake b.t.w.

When you say "pearl" are you refering to a name you gave that snake like a dog spot?
I hope thats the case cause I was hopeing to label the acual triple homo "pearl hondurans"?
Although I really have no say in keeping a name it is kinda frustrating?

We hashed it out pretty good here a couple years ago on what to call the triple homo once we were producing known ones.We all tossed out names and I came up with pearl since We know it will be a snow in apperance and should be very iradecant etc......

anyways,Just checking to see if its just a pet name or if you were calling it a pearl because it may be a triple homo?

Later shannon

p.s. Did I hear you say extreme?LOL.Thanks man.

Terry and Shannon,
Yes, there are tints of yellow and pink on her now but still very faint. The Males pattern and colors are more visible. But you both have more experience of seeing them change over time and how they can vary. I still like her....
Shannon, when I refer to her as Pearl it is just a name and the male is Opal. Both are fitting names based on the looks and when it is proven - Triple homo I cast a vote for one of these names if it will matter.
Ex.... What? Did I use that word.... Just testing you. Yes, I will use it when referring to them. I heard you both.....So it will be....
The Camera I use is a Sony DSC-S85 on a Tripod. This works best for me until they start to squirm away.
Looking forward to good stuff from you guys next year.
Kind Regards,
Adam

Thanks adam,

Do you use the kingsnake gallery to upload your pics to the web.I have always used them and as of about 6 weeks ago they changed something and now when I upload a pic on there gallery it looks like crap.
I don't know why but it looks like its under water or something?weird looking around the edge of the snake and no matter what settings I use on the camera.I used to post alot of nice pics but anymore I just use the lowest setting on the camera and its not to bad.
