Some snake`s of my collection,.. my first time on this forum so you know a bit what i like and what i have.
Ptyas korros


(going to shed)
Boiga cyanea


Boiga cynodon



Philodryas mattogrosensis



Psammnophis sibilans

Very nice! But I would question the lumping of Ptyas korros into that group as the dentation is a bit different. Lately it seems that "Opistoglyph" is becoming an outmoded term.

I keep that species of Ptyas as well.

Very cool snake, specially the Philodryas mattogrossensis, Where did you get it?
I have never seen this snake for sale, except a Philodryas varius sellin as mattogrossensis...

Ptyas (to the best of my knowledge) do not have the groove in the enlarged back teeth that signified what used to be called opistoglyphs. Many snakes that had enlarged back teeth but lacked this groove are venom producing but had been placed in colubridae.

BGF could explain it much better as his famous paper is what opened Pandora's box on the subject of what is and is not venomous.
