I saw a hatchling from that calico cowsucker at the herp show this last saturday!! Man does it look promising!!! If it looks anything like its father, (and it looks like it probably will), it is gonna be one awesome snake!!! And to think, this is a NATURALLY occurring morph!! Now thats something to get ahold of if you are into the unusual genetic offspring that Mother Nature sometimes throws at us!!!

Cool.I like the calico retics. If your breeding trails work out sign me up on your list. That would be a nice rat indeed.Ive been trying to find the people from blackbelt reptiles. They had piebald bairds but I dont know if the back breeding resulted into anything worthwhile.Well I hope you snap some pics after your new calico gets in.I will be waiting for them. sounded like only the mom was piebald, but i havent heard anything about any offspring....sometimes piebald isnt genetic as it is in balls.....

they also had a hypo if im not mistaken....

anyway

i LOVE the different, but pure morphs......i have 19 black ratsnakes and only 2 are normal colored (het. for hypo tho lol)and i will have 4 bairdi this week.....2 normals...one het. albino, and one albino!!!!!!

anyway....i seen Wills calico a year ago and was in awe!!!!!

i have to have one lol (at almost any price)....if and when i get it....i WILL post pics (i am waiting on pics of the babies as we speak)

would be my pride and joy

enough rambling....im going back to bed (all the kids are off to school) i think the snakes keep me sane lol

Ive been trying to find the people from blackbelt reptiles.

Troy and Marla Hibbits run Black Belt Reptiles. I just looked at their website and they don't mention any sort of piebald bairds, but they do have some breeding bairds.

Their web address is www dot flash dot net/~alterna
