my UTH won't stay stuck!!!

and it's driving me nuts! is there a safe way to re-stick it without a fire hazard? (Its a glass tank on hardwood floor) It works well so I really don't want to have to replace it. And can I re-stick it without having to move the 2 gex out?

I use black electrical tape.. works very well. Doesn't get too hot, never sticky, and never leaves a residue on the glass.
