Has anyone ever tried keeping BTS's in a kiddie pool enclosure?

The plastic container I keep mine in is just a little too small, only 5 sq ft. Wal-mart sells kiddie pools that are 5 to 6 ft in diameter (how many sq. ft. is that equivalent to) and around 15 inches tall. Would these kid pools work? I would really prefer to get one of these instead of an expensive, heavy, potentially breakable aquarium.

There's also livestock watering tanks... heavy black plastic or metal, although I would not use metal outside. I would also punch some drain holes in anything like that, whether kiddie pool or not... to cover the eventuality of rain when you are not there to bring them in.

Thanks for the reply but I'm actually planning to keep the kiddie pool indoors (sounds strange, I know).

Don't those livestock watering tubs cost a lot more? But several advantages that I can think of are more height and more resistance to denting or becoming ruptured. I'll have to see about looking into maybe using these tubs too.
