Rock Python Morphs?

chainsaw Nov 08, 2004 08:44 PM

Is anyone besides Prehistoric working with Rock Morphs? Are the different morphs actually genetic?I've seen docile imported Rocks, but have yet to deal with CB....but I'm guessing they are more docile, like CB Retics? Thanks!

Bob Clark deals with the patternlees afrocks alot cheaper than prehisoric pets the ones he had at tinley. Weren't as nice looking as prehisoric pets but it was kind of late in the season so he may have just sold all of his great looking ones. About if the morphs are genetic the patternless and hypos are. The twin stripe and single wide stipe sort of are but they are just different versions of the patternless they can all 3 show up in the same clutch from a naked patternless to naked patternless so its pretty varied what you get with the patternless morphs. I dont know about the tiger phases though and actually I'm not sure if the hypo has been proven yet. Sorry for the long post.

Also the cbb ones are alot friendlier but they are still pretty wirey they are always moving they are like retics on speed. They are generaly pretty nippy as babies and will usually huff and puff alot even as adults when they are in their cage. But are fine out of the cage just invest in a cage hook and you should be able to avoid being bit most of the time.

Starting to think no one was going to respond,no Rock fans out there?!
I had totally forgot that Bob Clark breeds Rocks, duh!LOL!!
I've seen a 14' female that was a sweetheart, she was originally a WC "evil" baby, who just mellowed as she got bigger.
Thanks again for the info,I'll have to drop Bob an e-mail!
