Hi, can anyone tell me anything about ackies. I've always wanted a monitor but though they all got huge and got mean as they get older. thanks.

Ackies are awesome, a whole lotta monitor in a small package. Give them a nice cage size, deep dirt, hides, bark, basking spot, temp gradient, lots of food, and a water bowl and they will be happy. There is a lot of information in the archives as well as books and some basic care sheets. Try the caresheet at www.proexotics.com, it has some good info. Good luck.
