No way dude. A definate no no. I would never keep dart frogs with anything besides dart frogs. Dart frogs come from totally different parts of the globe than leaf tails and I think have different temp. requirments. I wouldn't even recommend keeping different species of leaf tails together.

I would only keep dart frogs with Dart frogs for one main reason - amphibians are toxic creatures. if you lick a dart frog back, you'll get sick. if your animal licks or tries to eat a dart frog, it will die. The toxins in most amphibians will kill a large portion of small reptiles. Would you really endanger you're leaf tail's health for a cohabitative environment.
boy
some reptiles, if they were to come into contact with them.
That is the frogs DEFENSE against its preditors. I have redeyed tree frogs and green trees and after holding them, your skin sort of burns, to us its a sutble burning, but a strange feeling just the same, until washed.
And after handling frogs never touch your eyes, unless ya wanna feel some real DISCOMFORT whew!
** Some frogs are much MORE toxic than others.
Don't mix them ever!

"And after handling frogs never touch your eyes, unless ya wanna feel some real DISCOMFORT whew! "
you can say that again!
when i was in florida i caught this absolutely monsterous cuban tree frog. and i started rubbing my nose for some odd reason. before i knew it my nose was running like i had the worst cold of my life and it was burning soooo bad. didn't even get it in my eyes and it was terrible.
good points are brought up here. and i wonder what i have to fear more, rubbing my eyes after touching frogs or after touching cats. i am very allergic to cats, and can only imagine what some of the toxins from different amphibians can do. and never decide to test how bad an american toad's poison tastes....no comment.
Not something on my to do list, right side up!

Tasting frog poison, DUH!
