1) how do you get your website copyrighted and how much would it cost?
2) To sell leopard geckos do you need a tax ID number? If so do you guys know anywhere to get this?
3) Im not really knowledgable about shipping leoprd geckos but where would you go to ship air? and does UPS do air mail? Also where do you guys get the ilsulation and cups to ship your geckos?

Once you create a website or have pictures it is copyrighted, even if you do not declare "this stuff is copyrighted", Noone can use your stuff without your permission! I know because I went through this a couple of months ago with someone who posted pics of one of my creations on his website. The cost of having a website varies...from free to $100 a month depending on who you use, what features you have and if you actually have a domian (www.leoppardgeckoman.com for exmple) and you get it hosted.

This would depend on the local laws where you are. Check the state or local dept. of revenue.

I use Fedex and UPS, you have to get verified to ship geckos with them. It is free. I buy some supplies from www.reptilepackaging.com (better known as superior enterprises)

So i can put that my stuff is copyrighted if i want too? there is no thing i have to get that says i am? i know for like music and stuff you have to go through a whole lot of stuff to get verified.
I live in PA so i think im a lil stuck with that Fed-ex stuff unless they ship air. do they?

Yep...everything you create on your website is copyrighted. There is a little thing you can put on there that has the copyright sign, can't remember it just now.

Just add a line at the bottom of each page that says:
"Website and photos ©2004 Brian Skibinski"
And poof... you own everything there that you created from scratch... although technically you own it all anyway...it's considered "intellectual property", but it's better to have the line there anyway.
