Weird buldge, should I be concerned?

Altimaes300 Nov 09, 2004 08:57 PM

I've got a well fed, well cared for 6 month old 17.5 inch orange sunburst male dragon that did something very odd that concerned me. I bathed him and like usual he puffed up huge like he was full of air and instead of it leading to defication (he just went in his cage) he had this weird bulge out of his anus that looked like someone blowing a bubble with veins, between the size of bb and a marble. Should I be concerned? I put him back in his cage and he seemed fine. I bathed him again tonight and nothing happened. Was he pushing so hard some sort of guts pertruded? Has anyone had this happen before? Thanks for you help,
Jeff

Sounds like prolapse, get him to a vet immediately. Something is also likely causing it that your going to have to identify and change but right now he needs a vet.
