Right now I have 2 ADULT beardies in this enclosure. Lenny my 18" male & Jewels my 16" female. Its 48" long, 24" tall, 18" wide. I have sand as a substrate but depending on how old your BD is you might not want to go with sand as a substrate. At the basking end I have the upper basking area & a lower one. (Changing that soon to one big platform) The cool end I have a rock cave for them 2 retreat to at night. I have an indoor/ outdoor thermometer in the upper left. The lights are on a timer with a thermostat set up to cut the heat lamps off just in case basking area gets too hot. The cool side has a under the tank heater that is also on a timer to come on a hour before the lights go off at night & off a hour before they go back on in the morning.

here ya go:

The pictures really don't do the set-up must justice, but they really seem to enjoy it. I'm still not completely finished though.

Figured I'd give this board another shot. Yes I use sand, no I have no problems with it. The only changes made since this pic was taken: a worm bowl was added next to the food bowl and the basking lights are now side by side over that log he's sitting on. I need to get him a more elevated basking area, but other than that, he's happy as a clam.

He's actually lighter than this. I think the stress from the move (I adopted him and upgraded him from a 20g) darkened his color.
