Question on Bull Snakes

AlteredMind99 Nov 10, 2004 02:07 AM

I have a gopher snake, as so stated in the post below. And I was thinking of getting a Bull at some point, i really like the look of them. I was wondering two things.

1. In general what would you say their temperment is like? Similar to Gophers?

and

2. What kind of Bull Snake is the best for a "first timer" or does it matter particularly?

TIA!

I have a 3 or 4 month old bullsnake, captive bred Illinois Bull. I bought her from a local petstore and I could not ask for a better snake. She's never rattled, hissed, coiled, nothin. She's not boring though either, very curious and alert. Similar to my cornsnake. I really wish I could hear her hiss though!
