Anyone have any particularly good online Boa resources?

kimota Nov 10, 2004 02:10 PM

I'm admittedly a complete newbie when it comes to boas and I'm not even looking to buy one right now. But I find them kind of interesting looking. I've been reading here and done some google searches and stuff.

But I can't make heads or tails out of all the different varieties.

Mainly, I'm looking for a site that explains in good detail the different types and morphs of boas including how big they get and stuff.

This might be a weird question, but do any types of Boas stay the same color from their head to their tail? Most of the pictures I've seen (and like the red tail ones I've seen in person) seem to have a different color tail... which is kind of interesting. I'm just curious if that's a normal trait of all boas.

Thanks for any help,
Kevin

You might try Rio Bravo Reptiles at www.riobravoreptiles.com and also cuttingedgeherp.com they have some good information.
