I got an albino checked garter today and I was just wondering if albinism is a recessive trait in garters? I know it is in most animals, cause I am an animal science major at UConn and I am in animal genetics. Thanks!

Oh yea- can i mix this new albino checked with my 'chocolate' wandering garter? or is that a bad idea? And also-can like a checked interbreed with a wandering? thanks!
