i don't own a retic, but i do own/love snakes.

so come on, we all know these bad boys get what, 28-32 feet long, and hell you can find 'em at pet stores sometimes (although not of the fine quality of the animals produce by talented breeders) so a few of you have got to have monsters!

Lemme see!!

I believe Bob Clark's Fluffy is supposedly the biggest retic in captivity, at least here in the U.S. I've seen this snake in person at the DFW show and yes, she is massive. I believe he has a banner saying that she's the largest in captivity in the world. However, Steve Irwin also makes that claim about one of his retics at his zoo in Australia. Memphis Zoo has a sizeable female retic right around 21 or 22'. Hope this helps. Go to Bob's website at bobclark.com to see pics of Fluffy if you haven't seen her already.

You make it sound like they get 28ft on a regular basis but the truth is they only average between 15 and 18 feet. 20 footers really aren't all that common but they are still quite a few of them now since they are becoming morew popular and more people are keeping them. Anyway my biggest is only 12ft-121/2ft but she is only just over 2yrs old.
