This one is interesting. The mother looks like a snow (a c grade though).... This baby has an interesting color... however, something is wrong with his legs... We think he may have been born with mbd, but its gotten tremendously better, were working on it....

This is the mother and father of all the babies (mother -- grade c snow?????) (father -- hypo tangerine, poss het rainwater albino)

You say that its a reverse stripe?
We bought the mother as a het for jungle.... but its hard for me to tell what the babies in fact are. If this is a reverse stripe, then would that make her het for stripe, not jungle?? The other baby posted further up is from the same pairing....

Powergeckos Nov 11, 2004 11:51 AM

. . . I say that because the tail appears to only have one stripe down the middle - plus look down the back. A stripe would have the body color down the middle.

I'm curious as to what will happen to the opaque section in the back. That will probably fill in - but right now, it's pretty unique.

Jungles can toss a stripe or 2. I had a project which had jungles that produced stripes. That's what makes jungles so cool.

Again - keep us updated on this bad boy. He could be interesting.

All of them??? The older one we think may have been born with it, but we hadnt thought it about the others.

We are dusting all their food with calcium, and having the calcium dish in there.... what are some other suggestions you might have as to how to get more calcium in them? Do we have to resort to force feeding?

Just curious...how can you tell they have MBD from a picture?
