My little Mexican Bairds ratsnake died last night. I guess he just couldn't handle all the stresses on his little body. Poor little guy.

Sometimes they just aren't meant to make it.
The female is still doing good isn't she?
Hopefully you can get another male to complete the pair.

I only had the one male. Never got a female. Must be thinking about someone else. I agree that some snakes just aren't supposed to make it.

I was thinking about a pair of Texas bairdis.
The male in that pair wasn't eating at first but I think it is now.
