I have noticed that most of you are quite good at picture taking. HELP!! I suck at taking pics of my reptiles. I have a very nice digital camera but close up it looks like poop. Do you guys use a special lens for these great pics? Also, how do I post my pics on here? Thanks for any and all responses.

A lot of people use a macro lens or macro mode on their cameras, other than that, good lighting (natural light is best) and patience.

Most digitals have macro settings. Pratice with that.
I know this is obvious but sometimes the obvious can excape people.
When you snap a photo make sure the picture in the view finder is in focus. If it doesn't appear in focus in the view finder it won't be a clear picture.
what kind of camera do you have?
megapixels?
digital zoom?
optical zoom?
The main thing I have found is practice practice practice
Just keep taking pictures experimenting with light, distance, backgrounds, flash settings and camera settings such as macro.
