calcium dish?

Nicko Jun 30, 2003 02:37 PM

Do I need to have a calcium dish for my two month old? I'm not sure if she would go and eat it in the dish, she is just starting to eat out of a dish a little. I've been dusting and gutloading, but I didnt know if she would use a calcium dish yet.

Also, is it normal if she just stays in her warm hides all day long and hardly ever goes to the cool side? I bought a new den for her for the warm side, so she is always in that one or the other warm one. I didnt know if this is a big deal or not.

I believe it is better to have a calcium dish even if you are dusting the food. I never thought my 2 month old was using hers untill I see her little feet print in it and little tounge marks too. It wont hurt your leo if you do. If your leo staying on the warm side. Its no problem. My male leo says on the cool side in his humid hide box from 4a.m. - 8p.m. then goes to the warm side to sleep in. If your leo gets to warm it will move.
Dont worry
