what is the best way to get the beardie the proper UV rays?
I have a heat lamp for basking and a tube light that the breeder sold me. Is that enough? Do I need to get a special bulb for the tube light?

I would say that the tube light that the breeder sold you is probably a UVB flourescent. I'd call him up and make sure though. If that's the case you should be fine.

Hi
the zoomed reptisun 5.0 r good i have used them with good result .
only they need not to hang far away then 12 inches when it is more then it not give enough uvb/uva .
now you can also buy the powersun 100 watt flood r a uvheat.com lights and those give more uvb/uva
only they r very bright and i recomended them in bigger cages.
they need more distance to youre animals but they give also heat .
for a small cage i would recomned a flueroscent reptisun 5.0 from zoomed.
byeeee
You should also consider some time for your reptiles outdoor if thats possible for you. As a supplement or replacement depending on your situation. It doesn't take much time in direct sunlight to gain the proper amount of UVB as compared to artificial light sources. There is a post just today on this subject..
