Saddless boa (tiger)

boastud Nov 11, 2004 02:52 PM

This girl is an interesting one. I just aquired her, and her pattern (or lack there of) is wild. She kind of looks like the tiger boa. was that gene line bred with snakes missing saddles, or did it just pop out? I am not sure what to do with this girl, but i wanted to share and see what you all thought.

There are three keys to a tiger
1. The saddles are reduced look like they were stenciled on and soem saddles can be missing.
2. The belly is orange aka fire belly
3. the sides of the snake will have a lot of the orange in them also.
Some tigers are more extreme then other sbut yes it was lin bred by nick at Boas Ark.

Looks like a Coasta Rican cross Tiger from Jim Kavney,
I cannot verify that but looks like the ones I got from him.
It should be the codominant gene .

good luck with her.

Hey Nick, Just wondering how the tiger hogs were coming along. An updated pic would be nice. I'm starting to miss them.
