bedding and sleeping (long)

kailin120288 Nov 11, 2004 03:25 PM

my dragon is about 3 and a half months old would i be able to put sand substrate in the tank without it effecting him. because the store i got him from said to wait a while because he might not be able to digest it. also i have perched a big stick in his tank as his basking site put he only gets down from there when he eats and on rare occassions is that normal that he sleeps up there it also seems like he is going to fall because he lays his upper body on the glass and just his legs on the stick should i take caution to that. one more thing is it normal that he dosnt sleep in his rock house? thanks

They like to bask thats probably why he is spending so much time on the stick. As long as he is pooping and eating he should be fine.About the sleeping;they like to sleep in odd positions for some reason mine used to do it but he stopped I have only seen him do once in the past 8 months. So yea weird sleeping positions are normal also.

Here's mine sleeping in a wierd position. She used to stand up against the glass and sleep when she was younger!
