Hey I just discoverd this place and loks really nice and i'd like to use my first message to help out my new Hoggs Island. So i have had my new Hoggs Island Boa for about a month, everything has been going good. Until this week when i noticed a bump on the right side of his head. I am going to go to my local vet next week (only there on fridays and this friday i'm gone on vacation) but in the mean time i hoped you guys could help me. here are the best pics i could get.

Hi and welcome to the forum. It's good that you will be seeing the vet soon. He will be able to help you better than us who are just looking at a pic. If you have had him a month, I assume he has fed OK? - so his jaws are working and he is able to close his mouth and the top and bottom are aligned. An x-ray should show what that is. Guesses could range from a cyst/absess, something stuck in there from the inside, bone deformity/break....etc. Be sure and let us know what you find out after the vet visit. Good luck!

Yes he has feed with it and it didn't phase him. He has had feces stuck in his mouth off a mouse so maybe something is stuck in there. Well i'll let the vet decide. If it is a cyst or something will it be expensive to rectify? thanks
Steven
