What does everybody do for a Day/Night cycle? I use a red bulb becuase it doesn't cast much light, but when on top of my tank screen it creates the perfect heat gradient. Should I shut the light off in the evening to allow the tank to cool down to 70 degrees? or should I always keep the tank at the 88-90 -> 78-80 heat gradient normal during the day? I'm currently shutting the light off at night so the tank cools. What does everybody suggest?
