I just give mine a bath and spray into the water so he sees it moving and he drinks on his own if he wants too.I don't recommend a water bowl because 1 it raises humidity and 2 they most likely will not drink still water.
And I should do this once a day?
I usually only do it whens hes shedding but if you want to do it more often then I guess once every 1-2 weeks would be fine.
It is important to mist or provide water for young bearded dragons as they get dehydrated alot easer. A small water bowl is fine to leave in the cage but change the water every day and everytime it gets soiled with food, substrate or feces. Once a dragon is about a year old and is eating all his greens, misting or providing water isn't necessary. Bearded dragons get their moisture from the food they eat. If they haven't gone to the bathroom after a couple days a soak would be good.
Alot of dragons don't like getting a bath and this could be needless stress on them. If the dragon really doesn't need a bath (eating well, poos regularly and isn't dirty) there is no need to give him one. If he is dehydrated, hasn't had a poo for several days then a bath is fine. I typically only bathe my dragon when she gets herself soiled by tracking through her poo before I had a chance to clean it or when I clean her cage. When she was younger I misted with luke warm water and left a small bottle cap of water in her cage which she drank out of once or twice.
