Giving Viatims

Anole16 Nov 11, 2004 05:36 PM

How would I give viatims to my future Garter snake by feeding minnows and earthworms?

Hi, I got ReptoMin, Usually I give it to my turtle by lightly dusting 10 crickets with a teaspoon of it! I think its about the same for worms, you have to read about the exact dosage though. I hear for minnows you just put some in the water. AGAIN not sure exactly how much!

I put 2 or 3 drops of vita-sol 6-in-1 vitamin drops in to the water with the fish and I keep a mixture in a spray bottle and I spray the earthworms with it if I feed earthworms that week even though it does tend to make the worms slime up more.

Well i am new to snakes so i dont know if this is right or not. I use vitamins i bought at petco. Its called Reptivite from Zoo Meds and its a powder but i dont think you can mix it into the water so what i did was take my wet red rosie and dip it in the powder then drop in in the cage but not in the water. He ate in just like normal.
