I have had an ackie for about a year, and he is a great pet. I am thinking about getting a sand monitor (v. flaviforus). Could anyone tell me if they make good pets (ie: are they easily tamed, easy to keep alive, etc.). Also, could you give me some basic ideas of how to take care of them?
