Pooping problems and questions about burmation

bmulcahy Nov 11, 2004 06:36 PM

One of my female beardeds that is around 16 months old is having pooping problems (I think). Her poops are very small and have a reddish tint(I don't want to say bloody, but it is close)to them. I want to say she is constipated. She doesn't seem to be in any discomfort. She isn't eating much either, a little salad and no desire for crickets or worms. Any thoughts? I have soaked her several times with no visible change. She does a little poop every day or two.

Secondly, can too many superworms cause problems? All my beardeds have gone on a anti-cricket campaign.

Lastly, burmation - What do they do? I have one female that hides in her box all day and doesn't eat. She hasn't lost weight, but she was on the small side to begin. I have one male who comes out for a little light each day and then goes back into his box, he will take food once every 3 or 4 days. Again, no weight lose, but on the small side. And my other two hang out under the basking lights with little movement. They are most likely to eat and the pooping problem one is one of these two.

Any thoughts would be deeply appreciated!
