I keep my Boa(Peruvian)in an enclosure with Aspen Mulch bedding. Occationally the Boa will soil the bedding, but how long of an interval before you completely change the subtrate?

Hi,
I change the substrate once a week...
I also completely clean and sterilize the cages at this time.
Its a chore, but I feel that a clean cage is a healthy cage, in addition to being sanitary it forces me to handle each snake and evaluate its condition.
(by the way, I use a nolvasan solution to sterilize)
Not sure what everyone else does, but thats what I do.
