ambient temps, water temps, etc

hello everyone,
I use a rubbermaid container with proper ventilation to keep my bp in (I use an under the tank heating pad). I was wondering if anyone here experiences any difficulty in keeping the "colder" end of the tank in the 70's. Recently I have had trouble with this and can't figure how to do so. Also her shed from last time sucked and her eyes remained foggy, if her eyes don't come out clean this time what should I do? The pillow case method again? Oh and one last very important thing, how does everyone keep their water warm??
Thanks

keep the water at the cold end.....doesn't have to be warm......

they like to drink fresh water....change it frequently.....they'll drink while it's fresh..they can smell it......they cannot really smell warm water that sat there a day or so ( as much)....

......balls.....82 to 86 degrees is good........

I would recommend putting a container in the cage with moss in it and keep it damp prior to its next shed. You need to get the humidity up ! Keep a eye on his eye caps they could besome a problem. Have you tried to put a large waterdish in for a few days?

I also use a rubbermaid container. I use a UTH on one side for higher temps 90-95 and a human heating pad set on low for the cool side 80-82. You didn't mention humidity level for your tank. I use a hygrometer to measure the humidity. When my snake goes into shed I keep the humidity from 60-75%. Don't worry about keeping the water warm. The water will absorb the enclosures ambient temperature.
