I'm gonna be a daddy!

uromagnus Nov 11, 2004 07:18 PM

I have been very distraught over my loss of Magnus and have been checking out my options for getting another Uro. I just found out that I will be able to acquire a CB Ornate male (2'nd or 3'rd generation) that was born in Sept from Audrey Vanderlinden.

Lindsay Pike who spent a lot of his time on the phone with me explaining different scenarios with WC or CB Ornates and my options led me in the direction of Audrey. These are just great people all around and thanks to all of you the recommended them to me.

These babies are small right now and my job has special issues when it come to pets (thats why I have fish!). Since I travel for a living and am constantly out of town Audrey will hold the baby for me till Mar or Apr when he will be of a size/age that I can safely be gone for a day and properly care for him. It would not be fair to the Uro for me to try at this point since he needs fresh greens daily and is so young.

U guys all yelled CB loud and clear to me so I think I am making the right choice here and hope it is worth the wait.

I sure miss Magnus... More then I ever knew that I would. I always said he was 'my dog' since I can not have one (the travel) and his name was the name I saved for 8 years if I ever got a puppy... so I hope he thinks it is funny that I am at a loss for a name this time! He will ALWAYS be my little boy!

LIZARDY JOY, that you found that SPECIAL new little guy.

And I bet Magnus feels so dang BIG HEADED, and complimented, by the fact you loved him so much, you have not rested , until you found another one like him! (Not him, but LIKE him)

Can't tell you how glad I am for you.

I don't know you personally, other than our talks recently, but ..................
I KNOW you, just the same, and I know you are a very Warm, KIND-Hearted guy , I'm glad your my friend.

Good luck, pics, pics, pics as soon as you get some.
