blood pythong neuro disorder?

varanidfan Nov 11, 2004 07:18 PM

are there any known neurological disorders that will cause a blood python to have a kink in their neck which makes them look like they are always looking to the left? I volunteer at a reptile rescue and they have one which does this, and i am wondering if it is a serious problem or not. It has seen a vet and was treated for some other poor husbandry issues, but nothing was said about the head thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance for your replies.
