I bought butterworms once and I'm never going to buy them again. Half of them arrived dried out, and once I sorted out the live ones, my geckos refused to eat them. That is weird for my geckos too because they love fat wiggly worms, but for some reason they wouldn't touch the butterworms. It was a lot of money to spend on nothing. The only good thing about it was that some of them got out and my cat had fun playing with them. I had fun watching her to

I just recieved mine today from hepfood.com. They all are alive and very very fat. I also bought silkworms from them. They were hungry when I got them. I know how to take care of the silkworms my male leo ate one as soon as I pulled one out of the cartridge. Then a few later I was putting the butter worms in a a larger carrier and my leo was on my bed as was the butter worms, I put on in front of him and he tore that poor little guy up. My leo is getting heavy quick. He tried to go for one more but I stopped him dont want him to eat too much. But im not sure what to feed the butterworms at all and I cant find much info about them. I only bought 25 the minimum to order since he wil be the only one eating them since my other one is to small for them. what did you feed them?

You don't. They eat very specific species of plants.

But should they be in room temp. or in the fridge?

If you want them to last, in the fridge, I believe.
Just be sure you put them in an area that doesn't get TOO cold--the veggie crisper, for example, if it's temp controlled, might work.
