Today a friend of mine took in an abused/neglected gecko. I'm unsure what type of gecko it was and figured this would be the best way to determine its species/class/order/etc.

Today a friend of mine took in an abused/neglected gecko. I'm unsure what type of gecko it was and figured this would be the best way to determine its species/class/order/etc.

My friend informed me that it's a golden gecko. I looked up some pictures and I think he is on target yet again;

Yup it's a male Golden...on another note, LOL, I wrote that caresheet for the WNY herp society that the link goes to!! :-D

Indeed. It's a pity it's tail broke off in the transition to my place, but he is better off now. I have a new tank setup for him and he seems happier already.
