Panther vs Veiled egg incabation

red_eyed_magalie Jun 30, 2003 03:18 PM

Hello

I was wondering...Is it the same process to incubate Panther Eggs as it is to incubate Veileds..

Before I mate my Panthers and have eggs, I would like to make sure I am prepared and well informed...

I have a book on chameleons called The Chameleon Handbook that has a lot of information on severel chameleon species. It says that you should incubate Veiled eggs at 68°F and that Panther eggs should be incubated at 76°F for an incubation time of 5 months and at 70-72°F for an incubation time of up to 8 or 9 months.
