Moving...(not just the chams, me too!)

chunks_89 Nov 12, 2004 08:38 AM

I'll be moving sometime in the next month or so, and I don't know where yet. We won't be moving far, maybe a 10 minute walk from where I live now, at most (me and my bro are still in school, we need to be decently close).

How should I go about moving my three adult veileds?

It will be near-impossible to take the male out of his cage, and I would like to avoid it. The females will be no problem, theyre little sweeties.

I will probably be able to fit the 4' tall cage in my hatchback and strap it down or put some other things in there with him, should I just tack a towel or newspaper on the screen?

Having the cage moved with him in it will piss him off more than being taken out of his cage. Use a stick, and if you have to use two!! put one under his belly, gently pull up and push him in the butt with the other one. I find this method works well... i'd move too if i had a stick up my butt!
Put him in a small dark, ventilated container. This will be better and safer for him than the cage in the car. He'll live
