Xenagama taylori / False Uromastyx meet Chiumbo

PHEve Nov 12, 2004 10:39 AM

Trying this again I put it on last night but had some technecal problems , LOL and it had to go.

Anyway this is my little guy , he arrived yesterday afternoon. Hes also called a dwarf sheild tail agama. Hes just the cutest little thing.

Hes full grown and is 3 1/2 inches, hehehehe, like holding a baby ! The males get neon blue faces or chins when heated up or stressed, which he did when he saw other lizards.

Hes got a girl coming soon, and I look forward to breeding this species, I'm hooked already, the minute I saw him, LOL

Sorry to those of you who have seen this on the collared forum also (Vonnie) hhahaha not trying to bore you just exciting stuff!

And Tristan, thanks last night for the nice reply, I did see it before I had to do this over. I love your Egyptian pics keep showing me more,

Chiumbo, african for Small Creation

Awwww........how handsome! He reminds me of my Smeagol. Smeagol passed away just over a year ago and I lost his female a few months back. Smeagol was pretty active but his female just wanted to hide all the time. Good luck with your little guy! They ARE a beautiful animal, aren't they?!

LOL Brandy,

Yeah it was a technecial thing, :0( anyway, they are the cutest, especially when the males face turns blue so pretty. Within seconds it turns.

And they are so tiny, but seem hardy! About as long as your index finger, but chunky, heheheheheh (sweet)

You can use a 20 gallon long for a pair or trio probably with plenty of room. hes a bit scared but I can reach right in and pick him up.

I'm hooked and will definitely breed these cuties.

But heck we all wish we had bigger and better enclosures, one day I hope to have some big, nice ones built.

I decided a long time ago while tring to find pics of lizards I liked, that one day I would make a site and have lots of BIG pics to look at , hehehheheh I'm trying!

I love looking at everybodies pics, these guys are all so diverse.
