r they hard to tame...?whats the easiest method for taming them...?thx for replying!

Youre best bet is to start with a young healthy CB Tokay. WC are much harder to work with. It's allot of work to tame one and you must stay pretty consistant handling them. Not all Tokays may take a liking to being held but personally everyone I've worked with for the most part has done nicely. basically it's allot of holding, not restraining them, letting them rest on you, they like the warmth of youre body. Eventually over time they learn youre not a predetor, you wont hurt them, etc., and they may actually like getting out of their tank. Tokays are not the ideal holding gecko and prob best not to but it can be done with patience.

yeah i agree. ive gained plenty of calusus(sp?) helping tame my friends tokay... the bites dont hurt much and if you willing to give a little blood to have a friendly tokay its totally worth it. they can be tamed just keep reminding yourself that! there are a few that will never tame but for the most part all can become tame eventually.. some will take longer that others but keep with it. and remember the younger you get them the easier it will be. or if you want to work your way up get yourself a golden gecko. they are considered a form of tokay and are much easier to tame no matter how old they are.

play with your golden and get used to handling them then got your self a tokay and youll be that much more expierienced and youll gain that expierience with alot less blooddhed! lol!
