weird behavior

ktulu Nov 12, 2004 03:58 PM

I just got a new adoptive ball and he's doing something i've never seen before.....tonight was feeding night (2 mice)eats the first one.....then his tail starts to wiggle from the arse down (rattlesnake style) and he coils up. I move toward the tank and the tail starts going again and he gets into attack posture. so i throw the other mouse in......needless to say it was gone extremely quickly......finishs eating that and the tail strike posture thing again. Did i adopt a weird one????

Many snakes do the "tail rattle" that don't actually have ratttles. I don't thinks it weird, probably normal for some ball pythons.

There are two in my colony that "tail wiggle".One is a sweetheart the other is NOT.
Yet,they both do it frequently, beats me.
