I first kept flying geckos in the late 70's.
My wife currently has one.
They are fairly easy to care for, they eat live insects only. I recommend gut loaded crickets.
You can find a care sheet for them on the web. They like a moist environment, they like plants, and will use them to land on. You can see here a picture of our flying gecko cage. We use a 45 gallon aquarium, that's about 24" high, 36" long, 12 front to back. You can get by with smaller cage, I used 20 gallon tanks for flying geckos when I was a child.
You need to watch them at night to really see what they do, I recommend a daytime plant light that keeps the cage warm during the day, and a red light that keeps the cage warm at night, but allows you to see them, but doesn't bother them too much with thier nocturnal nature.
