Turtle water doesn't get green from algae.. does it?

The tank glass itself will get algae on it as well as rocks and other stuff in it.. but the water itself won't get green is what I think.

Maybe your turtles went poo and that is whats causing the messiness/discoloration of water. If you have a good filter it should usually be clean but the water itself can get bad if the turtles go poo and you don't take it out in time.

That's what I think.. Algae isn't too bad but very ugly so when you do water changes maybe scrub some of the algae off

Is your tank in a window? This could be contributing to algae growth. You could also buy some algae eaters.
