My male Saharan was exibiting courtship/breeding behavior yesterday and it got me thinking about incubators. I am going to be making a new one this winter using a mini refrigerator for use next spring and I was wondering how many others here have hatched uro eggs and what incubator they use. I used to have one that I made out of a large tub insulated with 1" styrofoam that was half filled with water that used an aquarium heater. It worked well enough to hatch eggs but there was a lot of condensation build up.
I've seen where some breeders are using different techniques to suspend the uro eggs above the substrate in the nest box and I was just wondering if anyone has found a good way/design that reduces the amount of condensation that builds up on the top of the nest box.
