feeding a baby brazilian rainbow boa

jacko421us Nov 13, 2004 06:22 PM

I just fed her a pinky and she ate it live without constricting it, i have a fuzzy that is of decent size. I was reading on forums that they should be fed the fuzzies and not pinkies. is it ok to feed her the fuzzy?

You fail to mention how bog your "baby" brb is.
I started all mine with fuzzies...frozen thawed.
Began with one...then two...then moved up in size...and so on.
If you begin the f/t now. You'll never have to worry about your brb not constricting.
Are you feeding from tongs? If not, dangle a f/t fuzzy in front of your snake...wiggle the mouse and stand back.
Good luck

*Ahem* Also, a word of advise, I would post in the boa forum. Those guys in there are great and extremely knowledgable...you should get alot of replies and quickly too. Not that I'm discounting the guys in here, their great too...the last reply made was great and very well stated. But....there's always next time to post. =)
