I was out of town when my egg hatched, but, I had noticed a change in the egg before I dropped it off at the sitter. It seemed dimpled, and a tad darker. The egg got a lot of attention from the family who kept it, but no one mentioned a change in it. They went to bed Sunday night without thinking anything was different -I had left town on Thursday - and Hermes was hatched and running around the bottom of the incubator in the morning. I wish I knew more, but I am sure someone more experienced will write soon! But my gut feeling is WAIT!!! I am thinking about you and the egglette and wishing you the best.
