And they said it hadn't been bred

This is one of 6 of our newest additions.

I purchased a female in July and the guy that sold her to me, said he got her from a pet store that didnt own balls. He had her quarantined at his home as well. However on September 12th out dropped a clutch of 6 fertile ones. I got to find that invisible ball, then find out if its co-dom or recessive. I could be rich off that one.

The female is about 3000 grams. The babies were born at 100 grams. They all but one have this killer jungle pattern.

Sounds like something most people dream of when they buy a snake!
I'd bet that she was probably wild-caught and already gravid from being in the wild, maybe?

Well, the female is extremely docile and has no scars and one of the easiest going balls I have. Who knows though. The pet store that got her said it was from a local man in Florida who didnt own any other snakes. Go figure.

This may sound like a silly question. But have you sexed them yet? Are they all one sex? Parthenogenic births are not unknown in snakes though I don't know of any in ball pythons. It's probably a stretch but maybe still a very very small possibility.

thats what i was thinking...if they are all males it could be parthenogenesis

No, they are not all one sex. They came out 2.4 which was real good. I am assuming that it was just a case of long storage and at some point in the last year the female was exposed to a male. Thanks for looking. Jeff
