Conan and Shera's hatchlings 2004. Eggs layed first week of August, removed and incubated by a friend, Started hatching the first week of November. Some will grow up to be multihorned Rhino Iguanas.

How many eggs did you incubate? Am I correct in thinking that these are full siblings to the baby I got from last years hatches? My little one is now weighing over 700 grams at 13 months of age.

Jane,
If I remember correctly, yours is a Spica/Conan offspring, Carols is a Shera/Conan offspring. The ones that hatched this year are from Shera's clutch, but breed with the same multihorn male (Conan) which makes it a half sibling to yours. Both Conan and Shera are extremely tame adults, so if one believes that tame adults make tame babies, these are the tame ones. I hope you and Carol are keeping growth records, as some day I would like to add the info to my records and perhaps put it up on a website or in a book.

Hi, Janes and mine are siblings from the same clutch. I have here that Shera and Conan were the parents. There was another baby that went to another friend of ours. That one was from the other clutch presumably Spica/Conan. I guess that these guys carry the gene for the multihorn?

I was did not remember who got which ? Since Conan has multihorns, there is a chance that any of his offspring might carry the trait. In the wild, It was not very common.

Adorable! Are you planning to sell any? I'd be interested.

The wrong reply will get this post deleted from the forum. Email to find out details. The adults are very tame as you can see in the picture below.

"The wrong reply will get this post deleted from the forum."

Sorry? Guess I don't know the forum rules.

Whoops, nevermind. Just took the time to re-read the rules. Understandable. Sorry again.

I'm used to repticzone.com. But I'm beginning to like this forum more...
