Help Question

monocledcobra Nov 14, 2004 12:09 PM

Just picked up a nice little Sunburst x Sandfire male yesterday at the Michigan Show. He didn't eat yesterday, and didn't eat today when I offered him some crix and veggies. He hasn't pooped either. He's 5 months old and about 10.5 inches. Is this ok? Is he just still getting used to his surroundings? He's a fat little guy. Got the "Buddha" belly going already. Just wanted to see if I should be worried he hasn't pooped, or ate yet? He did drink lots of water the last two days.

thanks

It can take them a few days to get adjusted and start acting normal and eating. I wouldn't worry about it yet.

Yeah that's a little small..... Probably nothing to worry about but just watch his growth rate. If I were you though I'd order some silkies. I'd also get a fecal done. He'll prbably start getting back to normal after another day or two.
